One identity across schools

Two schools, one phone number.

The school lists you as the guardian against your mobile number. When you sign in, EduSync finds every learner linked to that number, at every school on EduSync, and asks you to confirm each one.

Because a notice is text and not a scanned page, it can be translated, searched and answered from. Try the sample.

The final balance of R450 for the Grade 5 camp at Umgeni Valley is due on Friday 14 August. Learners without a settled balance by Friday cannot be included on the final bus list.

The bus departs at 06:00 sharp on Monday 1 September and returns at about 14:00 on Friday 4 September.

Pay by Capitec Pay or Ozow for a flat R2.50, by card, or by scanning to pay. Instant EFT is shown first because it is cheaper for you. Provider fees can change.

Grandparents and lift clubs

Each person sees what the school allows.

A guardian link has levels. The school sets one for each relationship, so a grandmother who collects on Thursdays sees the fixtures without seeing the fees.

Install in three taps.

  1. Open the link your school sentIt opens in your phone’s browser. There is no app store step.
  2. Add it to your home screenOn Android, tap Install. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
  3. Sign in with your mobile numberConfirm the learners we found. There is no password to remember.

Notifications work once the app is on the Home Screen. Safari cannot ask for them any earlier, and it is the most common reason a parent says “I never got it”.

Do I have to buy anything?

No. The app is free for parents. You pay only the small transaction fee when you choose to pay a school bill through it.

Will the school see my messages?

The school sees whether a notice was delivered and read, so the office does not need to phone. It does not see anything else on your phone.

My phone is old. Will it work?

If it has a current browser it will. If not, the school can still reach you by email, and the office can print a notice for you.

I have a child at a school that is not on EduSync.

That child will not appear until the school joins. The ones that have joined still appear together.
